In this self-paced (flex) course, 3rd and 4th graders will learn a comprehensive curriculum, including punctuation, capitalization, singular & plural nouns, pronoun agreement, sentence structure, and verb tenses.

Students will learn how to use adverbs in sentences to describe verbs.
 Week 2
Lesson 2
Full, Fragmented, & Run-on Sentences
Students will learn how to identify and write a complete full sentence.
 Week 3
Lesson 3
Pronoun & Verb Agreement
Students will learn how to use pronouns correctly in sentences by making sure the pronoun and verb agree as well as ensuring the correct subject and object pronouns are used (My friend and I play at the park.)
 Week 4
Lesson 4
Plural, Abstract, & Proper Nouns
Students will learn about the difference between plural, abstract, and proper nouns and how to use them in sentences.
 Week 5
Lesson 5
Subordinating & Coordinating Conjunctions
Students will learn how to use subordinating conjunctions and how they differ from coordinating conjunctions.
 Week 6
Lesson 6
Future Tense Verbs
Students will learn how to use future tense verbs in sentences.
 Week 7
Lesson 7
Adjectives: What Kind or How Many?
Students will learn how to use and identify adjectives to answer the questions what kind or how many.
 Week 8
Lesson 8
Types of Sentences: Statements, Questions, Commands, & Exclamations
Students will learn how to identify and write correct statements, questions, commands, and exclamations.

Personal & Reflexive Pronouns
Students will learn how to use personal and reflexive pronouns.
 Week 10
Lesson 10
Comparing Adjectives & Adverbs
Students will learn how adjectives and adverbs are different and how to use them correctly in sentences.

Contractions
Students will learn how to use contractions with both verb-not and pronoun-verb combinations.

Lesson 12
Letter Writing
Students will learn how to correctly punctuate the greeting, closing, and street address for a friendly letter.
This class is taught in English.
Students will practice grammar and sentence structure using interactive activities. 
I taught over 3,000 ESL classes online over the last 4 years teaching conversational English and grammar skills. I am a former elementary school teacher. 
Homework Offered
Students will receive 2 printable worksheets and activities for extra practice of the weekly topic.
0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
