Class Experience

US Grade 5 - 8
The introduction is one of the most important paragraphs in an essay. In this skill based class, we will learn the purpose of an essay and how to effectively write the introduction showing and discussing examples for the: argumentative, persuasive, and expository essay. We want to engage and clearly present our topic to the reader. The definition and requirements of the thesis will also be discussed. I teach in a relaxed manner. Class Rules: We mute so that we do not talk over one another, we are kind and respectful to everyone, if we have a comment or question, we raise our hand, and as per the Outschool policy, the camera must be turned on at the beginning of class so I may verify the learner. I teach in a relaxed manner.
