Polishing your essay for higher marks Students will be taught background work to be done in order to write an essay quickly and thoroughly, formatting and critical thinking skills, and then how to polish an essay so it gets a higher grade. Students will choose a topic they are passionate about and then one which they are not interested in to discover how to write about a difficult topic. Students...

Teacher has acquired a Masters degree with a GPA of 4.0 last year. She will share her secrets to essay writing from beginners up to the advanced level.
Homework Offered
Students are expected to write a one page, three paragraph essay using the constructs from the class, which will be handed in as homework within one week. These will be graded. The assignment is in the classroom and available once you enroll.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Each student will share/read their work in class. Peer evaluation and teacher comments for three areas of one piece of their writing will take place in class (Sentence structure, argument thread, and formatting). They will be marked according the score card included in the handout assignment.Grades Offered
2 files available upon enrollmentA one page handout will be sent to each student at enrollment for the first lesson. Also when the students enroll they will receive a homework assignment which is to be handed into the classroom within one week. This will be graded according to the materials covered in the class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No Parental Guidance required.
