Class Experience

In this 7-week class, your student will enjoy a story and drawing each week. The stories will include the following: The Food Group book series. I will read, while students, interact with the story which will pre-recorded. When the story is finished, I will pick a scene from the book and draw a picture.

In each class, we will read one book. Students will have plenty of time to interact with the teacher through messaging. Students will be asked to go and grab everything that they may need to draw including paper, pencil, crayons, markers, or whatever supplies that they'd like. Please feel free to bring a snack to have for the listening/story time portion of the class. For example, your student may bring seeds, beans potato chips, cookies, grapes, or cheese for each date. The themed snack is optional......they may bring any snack and drink to class. :D

I have been teaching and tutoring for over 13 years, in the school setting and online. I have worked as a pre-school teacher in a private learning center, an elementary/middle school math/reading tutor online, and in the school. I have also taught with companies like Tutor.com, VIPKID, Qkids, Magic Ears, EF, Itutorgroup, wyzant, Kidpass, Testingmom and more, over the years. I want to create an educational and pressure-free environment, where students ALL OVER THE WORLD can enjoy learning!!! I teach all year long and even during most holidays.

I have a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Master's of Social Work. I also have TESOL and TEFL: TEYL certifications. I am currently working towards my teaching license/ certification too. I am very patient and can guide students in their educational journey, every step of the way. I love to teach because I love to empower students and encourage them to take control of their futures. Beyond math and reading, I also enjoy teaching story improv, show and tell, how to start an online reselling business, personalized homework help, storytime, ESL, full curriculum, homeschool, private tutoring and more. I love learning new things about different cultures and hope to teach students from all over the world.
