Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 3
In this class, students will learn and/or review the names of coins and paper money, addition, and subtraction. We will use those skills to do some pretend shopping. Each student will have a certain amount of virtual money and will be able to pretend shop. They will have to keep track of how much money they have, so they do not overspend. We will review money and "Pretend shop" at new business each week, including the toy store, restaurant, theme park, movie theater, supermarket, bakery, clothes shop, and shopping mall. Students will get a chance to interact with each other as too, as cashier and customer!
