The Art of Discovery: Creating with Math and Science

In this hands-on class, we’ll explore the beauty of Fibonacci spirals and fractals using everyday items! Students will create their own spirals using natural materials like leaves (if available), beans, noodles, or other simple objects.

We’ll also dive into the fascinating world of fractals, building unique geometric patterns inspired by real-life shapes and patterns. I’ll guide the class with a live demonstration, working alongside students to ensure they understand each step.

To bring our designs to life, we’ll add color—so having paint, paper, pencils, or crayons on hand is highly encouraged!
