The ArKIDecture Academy: Making Paper Row Houses (Beginner) (Architecture)

In this class, students will construct and design row houses out of paper.  Each student will cut and glue their own houses with step by step guidance.  As a class, we will review slides and discuss examples of architectural elements that can be found on the exterior of houses. Following the slide review, each student will have time to draw their chosen 'architectural features' on their own paper houses. I will encourage them to express their creativity and share their ideas to the group.  I love to incorporate fun and laughter into my classes while maintaining clear goals and expectations.  Each student will finish class with their own unique row house design, an understanding of the basic architectural elements of a house, and loads of smiles.  

This class may move quicker or slower than anticipated based on the needs of the individual students. Questions, conversations, and sharing are handled gently and respectfully by the teacher. 

This class welcomes beginners.  Just bring your supplies and a creative & open mind.
