There is no formal assessment. My goal is for each student to learn something new while having fun and being creative.Class Experience
Hello and Welcome to The ArKIDecture Academy! In this one-time class, we will review slides and discuss elevations, 'architectural features' found on elevations, and how to draw elevations. Following the slide review, each student will have time to draw their towers, and design their chosen 'architectural features'. I will encourage them to express their creativity and share their ideas to the group. I love to incorporate fun and laughter into my classes while maintaining clear goals and expectations. Each student will finish class with an understanding of basic architectural elevations and loads of smiles. This class may move quicker or slower than anticipated based on the needs of the individual students. Questions, conversations, and sharing are handled gently and respectfully by the teacher. I suggest taking 'Before the Blueprints' prior to this class but it is not necessary. This class welcomes beginners. Just bring your supplies and a creative & open mind.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the basics of drawing architectural elevations. They will use 3D objects to teach them how to view and understand one elevation at a time.
