They will also learn the value and etiquette of writing a "thank you" letter. Students will learn: How to write a thank you note Brainstorm ideas of what you can put in a thank you note Purposes of letter writing Greeting examples Closing examples Punctuating a letter Capitalization in a letter Addressing an envelope Students will have a chance to go through the process of writing a thank you letter: 1. Brainstorm ideas for writing (writing process) 2. Write the letter 3. Check for punctuation and capitalization 4. Address the envelope
