* This class is for learners age 7-10. I offer this same class for younger learners, age 4-7. * In this interactive class, students will have the opportunity to explore good manners. The first half of the class will be dedicated to learning what it means to have good manners through discussion and examples. Students will learn important manners such as waiting our turn to speak, listening to the speaker, as well as good manner words to use such as please, thank you, and you're welcome. We...
Students will learn why it is important to listen to the speaker and wait our turn to speak. Student will practice saying please, thank you, and you're welcome.
(Completely Optional) - Come to class dressed as your favorite princess!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal assessment will be conducted as we take turns sharing our favorite princesses and when we have our virtual tea party to practice our manners.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
