We are learning more and more that social skills are important in young children. This course aims to help learners learn and develop those skills. Week 1: We will learn how to properly greet people, get to know them in a polite way and how to say goodbye. Week 2: We will explore the world of table manners. Week 3: We will learn how to talk to anyone and everyone. Week 4: We will explore how to be an active listener in conversations. Week 5: We will learn how to make and keep new friends. Week 6: We will learn how to use manners in public. Week 7: We will learn how to behave in a learning environment Week 8: We will learn how to behave at home while entertaining guests and while visiting other homes Week 9: We will learn all about family manners. Week 10: We will learn all about how to navigate sensitive topics and practice things we can say to others. Week 11: We will read "Mind Your Manners" and talk about the different behaviors we see in the book.
