In this one time course, your student will use tape to design different shapes on a canvas, then paint the canvas and see their fun shapes come to life.

In this class, we will work on created a tape art pieces. Students well learn different techniques and see different ways tape art can be done. They will then create their own tape art by putting tape on a canvas in different shapes and then painting it. We will talk about the different patterns they chose and show their art work to the class. This will be a fun class to interact with others and use creativity in art. No experience needed to join this class, just a good attitude and a willingness to try something new.
Learning Goals
Students will learn what tape art is, different ways to make shapes with tape, and how to create their own tape art creations.

Supply List
Students will need: A canvas (8x10 or bigger), masking tape, paint, paint brushes, water to clean brushes, paper towels to dry brushes, a space to create.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
