In a survival situation, finding water is critical. In this course we will teach students different ways to locate a water source and identify if it is safe.
Class experience
In the wilderness, or survival situation, it is vitally important to be able to locate a water source. Water is a critical element of survival, even if our bodies can, theoretically, last a few days without hydration. In this course we will have an open discussion where students are able to brainstorm ways they would look for water. Following the peer discussion we will go over the ways to find natural water source by diving into: following game trails, birds, locating valleys, riverbeds,...
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
