Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 5
Beginner - Intermediate Level
What will be taught?
Students will practice solving different multiplication questions that incorporate your child's favorite superheroes, like Batman, Thor, The Hulk, Spiderman, Superman and many more!

What topics will you cover?
The main topic for this class is all about practicing "multiplication." Students can working together as a team or they can choose to answer questions on their own. These multiplication jeopardy questions include 'single digit' and 'double digit' multiplication.

How is your class structured?
I provide a safe classroom environment free from any fighting and/or bullying. Students are encouraged to work together as a team. I also ask my students comprehension questions throughout the lesson to make sure they understand the material.

How will you teach?
I teach using interactive power point slides. In this interactive power point lesson, I include an interactive Jeopardy game, along with youtube videos and pictures of popular superheroes.

What is your teaching style?
As a teacher, I understand that every student learns and thinks differently. That’s why I include an interactive Jeopardy game filled with short youtube clips, different superhero pictures and more! I use 'positive reinforcement' to encourage my students. I also use verbal praise, high-fives and rewards. Students will also have opportunities to ask questions and interact with the teacher as well as work together with their own classmates. I will never have more than six students in a class at the same time. I find that students work and learn better in smaller class sizes.

All students are welcome to join this class! Parents can also request a private 1:1 practice session (just message me on the Outschool platform to request a private lesson.)
Learning Goals
Students will choose a superhero and work together as a team (or separately) and answer different multiplication jeopardy questions. Students will also practice problem solving skills by answering different jeopardy questions.

Hello Outschool family!

I am currently teaching over 12 different classes right now on Outschool. These classes help with math skills, reading/writing skills, adding/subtracting counting, multiplying/dividing money, value of money, how to write a good paragraph, creative writing, career options and "Jeopardy Multiplication."
I've been a teacher/tutor for over 10 years. I've also had the unique opportunity to work side by side with some amazing educators both in public and private schools. My teaching philosophy is simple, 'every student learns and processes information differently.' As a teacher, it is my job to figure out what style works best for your child's individual needs. I also use positive reinforcement in my classes. This can include anything from verbal praise to games and prizes! Overall, I try and provide a fun, safe and educational classroom where students can learn, grow and have fun in the process. You can read more about me and my qualifications on my Outschool page.

You can also read over 100 5-star parent reviews!
