US Grade 5
This 6-day summer math course is designed to help students entering 5th grade prepare for the upcoming school year. The course will focus on building foundational skills in math that are essential for success in 5th grade math. Students will engage in a variety of activities and practice problems to develop their understanding and mastery of math concepts. The course will cover topics such as number sense, operations, fractions, decimals, and geometry. Students will review and practice fundamental math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. They will also learn problem-solving strategies that can be applied to real-world situations. Throughout the course, students will receive individualized feedback and support from the instructor to help them track their progress and identify areas where they need additional practice. The course will also include interactive activities and games that will make learning math fun and engaging for students.
Learning Goals
By the end of the course, students should have increased confidence in their math skills and a solid understanding of the key math concepts that they will encounter in 5th grade. They will be better equipped to succeed in math class and feel more comfortable and prepared as they begin the new school year.
