Beginner - Intermediate Level
Styling thick hair can be incredibly challenging, when you are new. But it can also be really fun and rewarding. Which is why this class has been created. During our time, students will learn how to do 3 easy styles and cute hair styles: 1. Single Afro puff / high ponytail 2. Low puff / pony tail with twisted front 3. Double Afro puff / high ponytail Note that students will learn different variations for each hair style so they will know more than 3 styles. Parental supervision is encouraged, especially depending on the current skill level of the child. We will be review how to properly detangle, how to moisturize, why the order of steps matter, how to safely style and protect the hair, and finally, how to appreciate their hair. So, this class will not just be about learning how to style hair, but students will also learn confidence and life skill as they do so! As the teacher, I demonstrate the process of while guiding students how to do the styles themselves. In the materials section below, you can find everything that you will need for this class.
