Children will need: Paper Pencil Scissors Markers Glue, can be hot glue or glue sticks. Elmer's glue will work but is not best for this. Water in a container. This can be in a bucket, the sink, or a tub. Please be aware that having tubs, sinks, and containers filled with water can be a drowning hazard for those in the house. If you are worried about this, please skip this part of the experiment. Items for their design, this could include: Foil Plastic wrap Popsicle sticks Construction paper Toilet paper rolls (the cardboard only) Paper towel rolls (the cardboard only) Boxes (smaller boxes, like left possibly food packaging, or Kleenex) Straws Buttons and anything else you have around the house that your child can use to create their design.

Please be aware that having tubs, sinks, and containers filled with water can be a drowning hazard for those in the house. If you are worried about this, please skip this part of the experiment.
