Class Experience: In this ongoing class, students will practice real-world interview and group communication skills through weekly interactive sessions. Each class focuses on a new topic or challenge, ranging from elevator pitches and common interview questions to teamwork scenarios, persuasive speaking, and peer feedback. The format is highly interactive and discussion-based, offering every student multiple chances to speak, listen, and receive guided coaching in a supportive environment. We’ll use roleplay, mock interviews, mini-presentations, and group discussion challenges to help learners think on their feet and gain confidence. Taught by a Master's-level business educator with experience in admissions, leadership training, workforce development, and student coaching, this class combines professional insight with a warm, encouraging teaching style. Learners will leave each session with clear takeaways and growing confidence in how they express themselves in both interviews and real-world conversations. This class is ideal for students preparing for job interviews, scholarships, leadership opportunities, or college admissions. It's also for learners who want to strengthen their public speaking and teamwork skills in a fun, low-pressure environment. Teacher expertise and credentials
I hold a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in leadership and have over 10 years of experience teaching and coaching students in communication, leadership, and career readiness. I’ve worked in college admissions, guiding students through the application and interview process, and currently teach business and professional skills courses online and at the college level.
In addition to teaching, I spent a decade running a $3.5 million business, where I led hiring, staff training, and team development, giving me firsthand insight into what employers look for and how young professionals can stand out. My classes are rooted in real-world experience and are designed to help learners build confidence, think critically, and present themselves with professionalism.
I have worked with youth and young adults for over 15 years across classroom, coaching, and enrichment settings. My goal is always to create a warm, encouraging space where students can grow their skills and feel proud of their progress.
