In this one-time 50 minute we will explore the 16 Career Clusters along with some of the 79 Career Pathways from student interest at the start of class. This class will cover students questions and information on careers and programs.

Class Experience

  • Career exploration is all about learning about the 16 career clusters and the 79 career pathways. The career exploration will also discuss a few aspect about college. As example: Is it better to get a major in college for this career or attend a career and technical school. Students will have the ability to explore the wide range of information about careers, get specific information on careers, and ask any questions they might have about careers.
As a life long learner myself - I have two Masters Degree - One is in Career and Technical Education. Career clusters and pathways (as well as college and career readiness) are at the foundation of this degree. As a principal I built a Career and Technical Education program for a school, and I have been a high school history teacher at a Career and Technical high school. I am looking very forward to bringing my knowledge and background to a career exploration class on Outschool.
