Time to bring your stage characters to life using Stage Make-Up Techniques! In this Self-Paced Course students will learn Basic Stage Makeup, Elderly Stage Makeup, and one creative design of their choice! The students will learn how to prepare a make-up design outline, and techniques of make-up application and use their creativity to fully design their make-up designs based on a play/TV/movie the class decides on. This is a fun class for creative students! Whether they love theater or not, if they love art they'll love to make their faces the canvas. I highly suggest this class for theater, dance, or any performance student. The class is designed to be completed in 4 weeks and each lesson and assignment should take a week's time. Each lesson the students will complete their make-up design outline and submit it to the classroom. They will watch the video tutorial of the weekly make-up design for class meeting times. They will apply the makeup design and then take a picture of the final product to post in the classroom for notes. They will also be required to discuss weekly prompts based on material. The teacher will prompt weekly chat discussions on the materials that they learned, and post pictures or progress. The teacher will also respond to questions or comments in 24 hours or less. In the last lesson, students will create a short video presentation to submit. The students will apply their make-up design and take a picture. The video will present their make-up design outline, a picture of their finished make-up application, and talk about the process of how they applied their make-up. Discussions for students will consist of tools they used for applications, comparison of applications, and answering questions prompted by the teacher each week. Students will need to provide their own makeup

Allergic Reactions: Some makeup ingredients can cause allergic reactions. Always do a patch test before using a new product, especially if you have sensitive skin.
Skin Irritation: Certain makeup products, particularly those with harsh chemicals or fragrances, can cause skin irritation. If you experience redness, itching, or burning, discontinue use immediately.
Acne and Breakouts: Heavy or pore-clogging makeup can contribute to acne and breakouts. Look for non-comedogenic products that won't clog pores.
Eye Health: Using expired or contaminated eye makeup can lead to eye infections. Avoid sharing eye makeup and replace products regularly.
Sun Protection: Some makeup products offer limited sun protection, but they are not a substitute for sunscreen. Always apply sunscreen before makeup if you'll be exposed to the sun.
