In this course, students will write and design their own theatrical play. They will learn to create an outline of a play, how to write a play, and how a play is produced. After learning the basics of playwriting, students will work together to decide what they want to write about, who the characters are, and the moral/message of their play. Along with writing the dialogue, students will write detailed character descriptions and set designs. After the outline is done each student will be assigned a designer role for the production.
