Class experience
We will explore the beauty of watercolor and create this translucent painting of a SPRING shed. Students will learn to blend colors. Proper brush care will be discussed as well as how to use the brushes to create texture with them. We will discuss what colors to begin a watercolor with, and why shading and hi-lighting are such an important part of a painting. 2 files available upon enrollmentSupply List 8 inch by 10 inch watercolor paper, bowl for water, paper towels, number 12 round brush that comes to a point, palette paper (or a watercolor tray or foam plate), Watercolor paints tubes or trays. A set is easy to find a craft stores. We will use white, yellow, orange, alizarin crimson(red), purple, blue, green, brown and black.
