Are you ready to practice your spoken English? Teacher Katey is here to help! As a certified ESL teacher she has experience teaching in private centers, public schools, and virtually. Teacher Katey has taught children ranging from 0-18 years of age. For the last three years she has been teaching one-on-one, fully immersive English language lessons (aligned with U.S. Common Core State Standards) in a virtual classroom setting to children around the world! This interactive class was designed to create a safe space to practice conversational English while meeting new friends from around the world. This course is intended for students 6 - 10 years of age. Below is the class outline: Theme: Family Word of the Day Share: (Children will share their favorite family memory (props can be pictures, books, toys, etc.) ) Educational Activity: Let's Draw! Game: Teacher VS. Students (Basic Math) Farewell

Teacher expertise and credentials
Ms. Katey is 29 years old and lives in the beautiful Northwestern United States. She graduated from Boise State University with her BA in December of 2017 and hopes to obtain her master’s degree in Family Counseling within the next few years. Ms. Katey is a mom to a beautiful 3-year-old little girl, and a 10-year-old labradoodle named Lexy.
For the past 10 years she’s taught in private centers, public schools, and virtually. Ms. Katey has experience with children ranging from 0-18 years of age. For the last three years she has been teaching one-on-one, fully immersive English language lessons (aligned with U.S. Common Core State Standards) in a virtual classroom setting to children around the world!
Ms. Katey is also TESOL and TEFL certified, and strongly believes the knowledge she’s gained from taking these courses helps tremendously in amplifying your child’s classroom experience. Ms. Katey knows that all children learn in a variety of different ways. While she uses many teaching techniques (Natural, Skills, Humor, Emotional, Rational, etc.) practicing basic, every day conversational English is extremely important and a top priority in her classroom. Ms. Katey’s classes are engaging, and most importantly FUN!
When Ms. Katey is not teaching, she enjoys traveling, as well as spending quality time with her family and friends. She looks forward to meeting you and your family soon!Reviews
