50 mins in-class hoursClass Experience
Students will start class by taking notes on the process of solving system of equations using substitution. They will start by isolating one variable and substituting its current equation value into the next equation. As a class we will work on a few examples together, students will be encouraged to participate during this time in the form of questioning and modeling. Students will also work on independent practice by submitting answers privately in the chat giving me an opportunity to check for individual understanding. Students should understand that this type of problem is not done quickly but rather diligent attention to detail is needed.
Learning Goals
Students will learn to solve the value of the variables given in two equations by using the substitution method.
