Class Experience
By the end of the semester course, learners will be able to answer Semester 1 of Algebra 1 problems confidently .
I'm a certified math teacher and have taught middle school math for 8 years. I've worked with students who have learning disabilities as well as students who are gifted.
Worksheets will be provided following class. Students will turn in the work by the end of the week. Teacher will provide quizzes/tests following homework and at the end of units.
Paper, pencil, scientific calculator and a good attitude :)
The learner will be assessed with a letter grade and graded assignments.
1 hour 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
