Class Experience

During a school reunion, a scream is heard from one of the classrooms. It's 8:30pm. A few minutes later, the dead body of Miss Eliza McGowan, a cranky old English teacher, is found. She has been hit on the head. Also found were a number of items that may lead to the killer. 

In this class, each student will be assigned a character to play in our mystery. They will be paired to ask questions and discover information about where each character was and what they were doing at the time of the...

Students will 
     -practice discussion skills and listening to others' ideas
     -improve their problem solving skills
     -practice their speaking skills in front of a small group

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

This mystery does involved a "murder." There are no crude details or anything that might frighten your child, but you should be aware that the nature of the teacher's death will be discussed.
