Snake Sound Speech Club - Learn and Practice the "S" Sound!

In this course, learners can expect to learn exactly how the articulators, or parts of the mouth, work together to say the "S" sound. Students will learn tricks and tips for a super "S" sound! Students will practice saying the "S" sound in the beginnings, middles, and ends of words, as well as in blends, such as "stop" and "slide".  We will practice saying words with "S" sounds by themselves, in sentences, and in conversation!

This course will be structured very similarly to a speech therapy session. At the beginning of class, we will review the "S" sound and then practice saying it in different contexts using a variety of fun games and activities. Students will practice as a group and individually and receive positive, corrective feedback from a licensed Speech Language Pathologist. 

No prerequisites are required for this class. It is ongoing, so jump in anytime! This course is ideal for students who have had previous speech therapy, for students with lisps who may have not qualified for speech therapy through their school system, and for students who only have difficulty with S (no other speech sound errors).
