Beginner Level
What will be taught? Students will learn details of what the Scientific Method is and how it came to be used as the standard for science experimentation. This single session will also address the required steps of the scientific method in preparation for a science fair. How will I teach? I will present material that the students will be asked to verify their comprehension with oral and written reviews. Students will be allowed to not only initiate conversations with the teacher, but collaborate with their peers. Required experience of background knowledge? No required experience of background knowledge is required before enrolling in this single session class. Late enrollments: Because this is a single session class, if a student misses enrollment in a current class, they can enroll in the next class being offered.

Other Details
Parental Guidance
Parents will be asked to assist with any part of the project such as purchasing supplies with the student. However, the science fair project should be independently completed by the student.
