Students will learn and perform a basic vocal warmup, develop some comfort singing both my themselves (if they are willing) and with others, learn and perform a simple folk song and get a general sense of what it is to study singing with a voice teacher. I aim to be as encouraging and gentle as possible, allowing students of any interest level or willingness to sing in front of others to get a sense of safety and fun out of singing.

I am a classically trained singer and voice teacher, having received my BM in Vocal Performance from Lawrence University and having studied voice personally for over 15 years now. Beyond this I have over 10 years of stage experience from productions ranging from Opera to Musical Theatre to Recital to Jazz performances. I am also currently running my own private voice studio and offer vocal instruction to students of any age and skill level. I consider myself a life long learner and am passionate about sharing my ever evolving understanding and appreciation of the human voice with others!
