Students will practice a variety of academic skills including reading, writing, social studies, science, and most of all presentation skills.
When I was in the regular classroom, I had 2 students per day be able to share their projects. My students loved sharing with their friends!
Students are expected to complete one project or poster per week that they will share with the class at the following session. Since the class is based around "show and tell," it is very important that students come ready to share something with the class and be ready to talk for roughly 5 minutes about it.
I will provide a resource packet that I designed. Depending on what topic each learner chooses, they may need different things (ex. poster board, material for a science experiment).
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
I have a dog but he rarely barks.
