Class Experience

The class will start out with each child introducing themselves with their name and answering an introduction question.
(example: what is your favorite animal?)
The order that the students introduce themselves in will be the order they take turns in to show off their items.  If time allows students will get more than one turn.  Each student will take their turn showing and telling about their special toy.  Questions will be encouraged to spark social skills and imagination.

Each week there will be a different theme for the students to use as a guideline of what to share. Students will enjoy showing off their items and telling us about them.  Students will be able to share all of the details that they would like to share with us, or even make up a short story about it.

Students need to bring a minimum of one toy/item to share about.  (Please have students be prepared with another option or two.  If time allows they will get more than one turn).  If the student chooses not participate in the theme, that is okay, they can bring whatever they choose.

Students will work on public speaking, patience, and observation skills.  This class will be set so students can see each other.  
This class is an ongoing class that meets once per week.

Weekly themes are as follows:
Week of February 23: Something red
Week of March 2: Something with a flower
Week of March 9: Something that you made (craft or drawing)
Week of March 16: Something fuzzy
Week of March 23: Something silly
Week of March 30: A stuffed animal that you wish was a real pet
Week of April 6: Something from outside
Week of April 13: Something that makes you happy (this has to be a thing not a person)
Week of April 20: Something with a neat pattern
Week of April 27: Something that you collect
Week of May 4th: Something funny (by request)
Week of May 11: Something with a number

I teach a variety of classes including, but not limited to: madlibs, art, creative classes, public speaking, and social skills.

I have been working with early childhood education for over 20 years. Teaching the basic life skills needed to move through life with ease.  Phonics, social skills, and coping skills to name a few.
It is a great joy watching children come out of their shell and blossom into their own personalities as they learning and grow to their full potential!
Child will enjoy random fun facts that help with each child's imagination to soar to new high.  It will be a pleasure helping your child to grow and learn as they enjoy the comfort of their own areas.
