Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
The kids will learn about geodes.
I have taught grades 2-5 as a public school teacher, and I have taught on Outschool since October 2020. I have been a 4-H leader, and I have led a club, The Young Naturalist Club , with homeschool kids when my sons were younger. Currently, I teach elementary and high school classes to homeschool kids.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Vanilla frosting, rock candy, sugar cookies, knife, and heavy object such as a rolling pin, meat tenderizer or small hammer will be used in class. If you don't want your child to decorate a cookie, Play Doh can be used to make a flat disc and sequins can be used to represent the crystals in a geode. An English muffin and cream cheese, peanut butter or other nut butter could be used with dried fruit to represent the crystals.
