In this one time class, your child will learn about Eastern cottontail rabbits that live in the Great Smoky Mountains. I hike in these mountains frequently, and I have seen these rabbits a lot while hiking. Using a slide show, I will present facts about the rabbits such as their diet, habitat, and lifecycle. The kids and I will engage through class discussion. After the class discussion, the kids and I will complete a creative writing activity. ****Art supplies are needed for this class.
