Hello Outschool learners and families,
I am Shaayna - The Handwriting Tutor and I am focused on making handwriting help accessible to all, remotely. My sessions provide onscreen demonstrations and continuous feedback to improve handwriting samples in live time. Since joining the Outschool team, I have written with over 1,000 learners from all around the world!
As an occupational therapist I am sharing 15 years of experience in the form of simple yet helpful handwriting tips and techniques online. My handwriting philosophy is progress over perfection, because written communication should be functional and purposeful. If you can communicate ideas through the written language and someone else can read your message, we’ve succeeded.
When I am not online providing handwriting instruction, you can find me creating handwriting help content for social media. There I share more handwriting help resources such as engaging handwriting prompts and interactive fine motor activities. I truly enjoy connecting with parents and professionals focused on facilitating an enriching childhood.
In addition to my role as THT, I am a few other fun things…
・a wife, mom, step-mom, and fur-mom
・a homeschooler to my neurodivergent thinker
・a native South Floridian, who often visits WDW
・an avid coffee drinker and Girl Scout cookie snacker
・an English and Spanish speaker
Join me in one (or more) of my handwriting sessions to learn more about how I can help with your handwriting needs.
