I understand that Reading can be difficult for many students. My Reading tutoring program is designed to provide personalized support and help each child reach their full potential. Whether a child needs help with fluency, vocabulary, reading comprehension, or just wants to improve their reading skills, this class has it covered. Experienced tutoring helps students maintain and improve their fluency and reading comprehension. This tutoring session is flexible and can be tailored to meet the unique needs of the learner. Sign up weekly or more. Sessions will be tailored to you! We'll dive into interesting, age-appropriate topics to expand our understanding of the world around us, while enhancing reading comprehension. Topics are based on reading, science, and social studies standards for 3rd-5th grade. WEEKLY LESSONS include topics below: Asses fluency and discuss learner interests to determine correct Lexile level. Vocabulary Passage Fluency Read Aloud and Comprehension
Learning Goals
*Learners will recognize and read high frequency words with automaticity.
*Learners will recognize the individual sounds in words and connect them to letters to decode (read) and encode (spell) words.

Learning Needs
This session is intentionally kept to a 1:1 sessio to support students with unique learning needs such as learners with ADHD, ASD, and other learning differences.
This class uses a multi-sensory approach and explicit teaching.
Parental Guidance
In the tutoring sessions, with parental consent ahead of time, I will use Easy CBM to asses a student's reading fluency level and continue to progress monitor the student. I will be using Reading A to Z, Epic, and Readworks for read aloud, building vocabulary and monitor comprehension.
