Reading Spanish Is Easy! Story-Based Learning With Spanish First-Readers(1 Of 3)

Are you looking for an engaging and fun way to introduce your learner to the Spanish language? Look no further! This Spanish class is designed to immerse learners in the language through story-based learning. With a focus on reading and comprehension, 10 captivating first-reader books in Spanish are used to teach learners the language with ease.

The stories used during class combine proven methods of learning Spanish such as a story-based approach, repetition, simple sentences, context, visual cues, and humor. The pictures use color purposefully to accelerate comprehension, while the one line of Spanish text per page follows a repetition structure that is confidence-building for young learners.

Each week, learners will read one story together with the teacher's guidance, engaging in discussions about the meaning of each page. Then, learners will listen to the audio reading by a native Spanish speaker. This allows learners to develop an authentic ear for the language and enhance pronunciation skills. Following the story, learners will dive into the vocabulary words presented in each story through gameplay, ensuring they gain a solid foundation in Spanish vocabulary. Students will learn at least 10 new words every week for the first 10 weeks!

After completing all 10 books in the first set, students will review vocabulary words. During the last class, students will be expected to read their own story they created using the words they’ve learned, thus putting into practice what they have learned.

NOTE:
**This is the 1st set of 3, which introduces simpler and basic vocabulary. If you enroll your learner in all 3 sets, your learner will have the joy of exploring a total of 30 captivating first-reader books, each building upon the previous knowledge acquired.
