I am a certified New York State teacher who loves teaching students to become better readers, while inspiring them to love reading at the same time! I have my Bachelor's Degree in Childhood and Special Education and my Master's Degree in Literacy. Before choosing to be a stay-at-home mom, I worked in a public school as a second grade teacher, third grade teacher, and reading specialist for kindergarten-fourth grade. In addition to teaching the typical public school curriculum, I have taught students with disabilities and 504 plans, prepared third and fourth grade students for state testing, and taught English Language Learners. Currently, I am an online ESL teacher and a college professor who teaches undergraduate and graduate students how to become excellent teachers and literacy specialists. I hope to see your student in my classroom!
