Class Experience

Storytime!! Help your child develop their creativity and quick thinking skills in this Story Time class. We will begin the lesson by discussing the main elements of a story [introduction, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution]. Then students will be given a story prompts using a spinner wheel and they must create a story with the selected prompt. The fun part is that all the students are involved in creating each story. We will go in a random order beginning with one sentence. Students must be prepared to create the next part of the story at each turn. They never know what the student before them will add to the story so they will learn to adapt in order to create a coherent and funny story.

Students will learn the elements of a story. 
Students will work together and use their creativity to create an original story.

Students do not need to bring anything. I will be in charge of writing down what the students say to prepare the final stories.
