Hi, welcome to my profile page! I am a certified teacher with a Bachelors in Liberal Studies and a Masters in Education. I have been teaching for fifteen years in various roles as a classroom teacher in both general education classrooms and special education classrooms. I taught as a classroom teacher at a STEM based school, as a classroom teacher at a visual and performing arts school, a Kindergarten literacy master teacher and a special education teacher for students with autism and mild to moderate disabilities. These wonderful experiences have given me the knowledge, skills and effective strategies to provide my students with tools they can utilize in their daily lives and in their learning.
I’m excited to share my love of teaching and life long learning with students on Outschool.

I am passionate about integrating a "whole brain teaching approach" to lessons and making learning interactive and memorable. I believe every student has a talent, learns differently, and should be challenged appropriately. My goal is for my students to leave class feeling successful, inspired and excited to learn more. I believe in Alfred Mercier’s quote,”  What we learn with pleasure we never forget.”
