US Grade 1 - 4
Tutoring session for lower elementary aged students. Parents choose topics according to their child's unique needs (math or language arts/reading). Tutoring session will utilize slides and games. Sessions will be interactive and, if needed, repetitive to solidify your child's understanding. A sample initial session will involve a parent meeting with me and discussion the needs of their students and their expectations. Details will be established. A tutoring session will be 30 minutes and involve a lesson for 10 to 15 minutes depending on the age of the student, and then practicing the new skill along side past skills learned. Practice could be reading a text, having a student vs teacher competition, or playing a game. Please let me know what specifically your child needs. Needs might include, reading words, working on sight words, spelling, reading fluency, adding 2 digit numbers, comparing numbers, word problems and more! If your child learns best in a specific way (movement, games, or with a theme like animals or superheroes) please let me know and I will create a lesson that best fits their needs. If you do not see a time that works for you, please message me and I will do my best to accommodate that preference. I offer sessions between 6am and 6pm MST.
Learning Goals
Learning will be dependent on students needs and will be established at an initial session. Each session will involve a new skill or reworking past skills that are difficult.
