Class Experience

US Grade 6 - 8
The student will be able to comprehend stories we read. The student will also be able to highlight important data from the stories. We will focus on reading, their pronunciation, definition of certain words and summarize each story. We will discuss who, what , where, when and how did he happen? We will focus on main ideas and the author's purpose.
We will aim to cover topics that the learner will be interested in and engage in reading, writing, spelling and vocabulary.
This class will have discussions, lectures, videos and games.
The student will be able to ask questions and have a more detailed explanation of the correct answers. The student will need to interpret stories we are reading and will also have to argue or defend their view when answering the questions.
The student will need to apply what they have learned with their parts of speech and will recall facts and basic concepts to confirm that they have an understanding of what they have read. The student will be able to organize the information in a new, creative, more in depth and different way. The student will be expected to go through certain steps or order in order to answer some of the questions that is being asked of him/her. Student will be expected to retrieve information from memory to make sure they are completely understanding the material so we can move forward.

Hello parents,

My name is Julianna Moore and I am a NJ State Certified teacher (K-8 th Grade). I have taught for many years and now excited to take it to another level and begin my journey teaching online.
My approach to learning is to be patient, supportive, and answer all of my students questions. My job is to open your child's mind and for your child to learn as much as they can in the short time they are with me in class. I am to provide them a safe and positive environment while discussing important subjects.
I am married with 4 children and have a big Black Lab name Marley who you can meet if you would like. :)
 Welcome to my class!
