US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
In this Ongoing class, the student will learn at their own pace. Group classes can be intimidating for some students. As a certified teacher, it is my passion that the student learns in a comfortable setting. That is what my position will be for your learner. As the Teacher of the learner, I will continuously evaluate what they need to work on. Parents will be informed every week on their learner's performance. In my class, there will be interactive slide presentations and worksheets. These worksheets will be sent days ahead of time. The topics that will be covered are: Colors- Identifying the color and coloring with that it is. Also making sentences about the color. For example, The sun is yellow. The sky is blue. Numbers- Identifying and counting numbers. We will also learn to count by 5's 10's and 20's Shapes - Identifying squares, rectangles, and maybe octagons. Depending on the level. Comprehension, reading, spelling, and grammar will include verbs, nouns, and punctuation. Of course, there is so much more to learn. The required knowledge is already knowing the identification of the alphabet letters. The other requirement is knowing numbers 1 through 10. This class is made to be stress-free for your learner. Having fun while you learn is essential in my class. At times we will sing songs. Songs have been found to be a great way for learners to retain information for life. I'm looking forward to going on this journey with your learner. Thank you for this opportunity.

Hello, my name is Teacher Toni. My classes are very visual. In class, my students enjoy activities and games. Learning independently with guidance and group settings. Which is very effective. Class participation is important but not forced. I am actively a Certified ESL teacher. I have taught hundreds of students. Teaching children is a passion of mine. I've always enjoyed educating children in different settings prior to becoming a certified ESL teacher. Now that I have taken the opportunity to intensely teach children every day, I love it. The light in the student's eyes when they are happy with their accomplishments brings me so much joy. My philosophy of teaching includes allowing the student to be creative. I believe in showing and explaining to the students new content. Afterward, they are able to work independently. Being patient with my students helps them to find the answers to the problem at hand. My philosophy also includes learning by experience. Hands-on classes are very powerful. It allows the student to be more open-minded to the task. My fun comes naturally. It's not always something I plan. I may put on a blue wig for a reaction or sing a random song. You may even see me do a little dance when my student gets the correct answer. When the student does something creative that makes me so excited. My goal is for every student to feel inspired and really good about their achievements. They need to feel comfortable in the classroom and stress-free. I'm also a Master Cosmetologist. I had my own salon for 25 years in the heart of Atlanta, Ga. I've been an Educator for this industry as well. Teaching other hairstylists has been rewarding. As a platform artist, I have traveled around the United States, Europe, and the Caribbean. I love meeting new people, traveling, and learning Spanish. Once you look at my classes you will see I am an Art and cooking teacher as well. I also have classes where I take the students on an adventure. Having fun while learning is important to me. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your child very soon.
