Build and Write: A Construction Alphabet Adventure

Prepare for an exciting journey into the world of letters and construction in, "Build and Write: A Construction Alphabet Adventure!" This unique and interactive class is designed for young construction enthusiasts who are eager to master the alphabet while indulging their passion for building and construction vehicles.

After greetings, a welcome poem, and friendly conversation, each class will include:

1. Alphabet Exploration:
Budding builders will dive into the world of letters. Through fun and engaging activities, students will learn letter names, sounds, and shapes in a construction-themed context. From "A is for Asphalt" to "Z is for Zipline," we'll explore fascinating facts about construction materials and vehicles that correspond to the letters we're learning.

2. Imaginative Play:
Imagine being a construction worker for the day! Armed with building materials and their new letter knowledge, students will embark on construction adventures. They'll use their creativity and construction-themed props to build the letters of the alphabet. This hands-on play enhances fine motor skills and reinforces letter recognition.

3. Guided Letter Writing:
Using my second camera and construction themed lined paper, I will model for students how to correctly form the letters. Then, students will practice writing the letters they've built. We'll explore various writing tools and techniques to ensure a well-rounded learning experience. Together, letter writing will be an enjoyable and rewarding process.

4. Peer Interaction:
This interactive class is a space for students to connect with peers who share their love for construction vehicles and knowledge. Students and encouraged to share their construction facts, collaborate on letter-building projects, and engage in group activities that promote social development.

5. Confidence Building:
As students progress through the alphabet, they will gain confidence in their letter recognition and writing skills. This newfound confidence will set them on a path to success in their writing and literacy journey.

Students may join at any time! Lessons do not build on each other. Each week we will cover two letters. Once we have completed Y and Z, I will begin again with letters A and B!
