US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 5

Private Tutor lessons for Math Classes Grades K-4th
This is a private one on one tutoring session for math grades kindergarten-4th grade. This is perfect for those that are struggling with particular math concepts and need additional assistance to try to master those skills. There will be an assessment done in the first class. Based off of that assessment, I will then develop lessons tailored for that student. Each session is only 30 minutes, however if you need more time or need to schedule another time to go over these math concepts, I will be happy to assist. 

Why your student will benefit from this one on one tutoring session?
All my lessons we will use PDF printouts that will be provided to you before each class. We will be using blooket which is an interactive component that teachers use to enhance the the class and create a fun atmosphere for the class. With my resources each student will walk away from class feeling more confident in their mathematical skills.

*You will not need an account for Blooket. I will provide a link during class time in zoom chat box. I will then provide the code for the student again during class time to access the Blooket game.

I have over 15 years of experience working with children and adolescents in both traditional and online learning environments. My background in child and adolescent development has given me a deep understanding of how young people process emotions, handle challenges, and develop the skills they need to navigate life with confidence.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development, and I am a certified life coach specializing in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), which focuses on practical techniques to shift mindset, improve communication, and develop emotional resilience. Additionally, I have a TESOL certification, which has allowed me to work with students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles.

I began teaching on OutSchool in 2019, originally focusing on academic subjects such as math and early childhood education. Over the years, I’ve consistently received positive feedback from parents and students who appreciate my ability to connect, inspire, and create a supportive learning environment.

After experiencing a profound personal loss—the passing of my husband to stage 4 lymphoma cancer—I took a step back to focus on my own personal growth and healing. Through that journey, I realized how essential personal development is, not just for adults but for young people as well. This led me to deepen my studies in life coaching and emotional resilience, recognizing that students need more than just academic success—they need the tools to handle life itself.

Now, I bring all of that experience into We Ryze Together, a coaching program designed to help students build inner strength, develop emotional awareness, and approach life’s challenges with a sense of empowerment and ease. My approach is practical, supportive, and tailored to each student’s unique needs.

Through my years of working with children and my personal journey as a widow, single mom, and educator, I’ve learned that young people need more than just advice—they need guidance, encouragement, and real strategies that they can carry with them for life.
