Class Experience
This class covers the basics of clarinet playing using the book, Essential Elements 2000 for Bb Clarinet, available from Amazon. It is used by many band directors. I find out where the student is, what they know, and we work from there. We also work on individual scales, chords, solos and improvising as appropriate. Proper positioning, embouchure, tone and standard (and some alternate) fingerings are covered. Some memory work is involved, but it is optional. Skill levels of players...
