Thank you! ** Please note: I offer 1:1 customized tutoring for students 5 to 12 years of age. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any point to request a session for a certain day, a specific amount of time, or if your child is older than the listed ages. I am a Certified Teacher with extensive education in language acquisition, and in teaching all subject areas. My teaching style is very hands-on, and one in which ensures that each learner has limitless opportunities to reach their full potential. I believe learning should be a very wholesome experience, where each individual is immersed in an authentic, nurturing, and positive environment. My main goal is to always make classes super fun, so you can expect nothing less than an incredible learning experience. I have worked with students (ages 3-19), in both Canada and the United Kingdom. In order to obtain my certification, I had to complete 6 years of university. My experience, education, and dedication has allowed for me to develop the necessary skills and passion to deliver thoughtful, professional, exceptional, informative, and engaging lessons to my students. I am a certified elementary and high school teacher whom absolutely loves teaching! I have an Honour's Specialization in History, French Language and Literature, and a degree in Education. I have extensively studied language acquisition and metacognition, and feel very privileged to bring this knowledge to each of my classes. My heart is learning and teaching! I have had the privilege to teach all grade levels, and have taught in both Canada and London, United Kingdom. Not only do I teach in the classroom (virtual, nowadays!) but I also teach in the dojo. Karate has been a humongous part of my life for 21 years, and it brings me so much joy to share my love for martial arts with learners from around the world!
I am fluent in English, French and Greek! From a young age, I have absolutely adored studying languages. I really excelled in environments, which were authentic in nature and allowed for me to learn in a way that was hands-on and fun. As a result, I always ensure that my classes are super engaging and an experience that will aid in confidence building!
I believe that education and learning must go far beyond the four walls of the classroom. It is a time in which all students should have the opportunity to recognize just how incredible they are in an exciting, and nurturing environment. In doing so, I hope to help students become leaders and grow their interpersonal and intrapersonal skills! In my personal time, I love to read, write, travel, garden, listen to music (and have a dance party at the same time) and spend time with my dear family!
