US Grade 1 - 5
In this ongoing weekly one on one tutoring class, I will be working with students on math skills and strategies. Each week we will practice and build confidence in their mathematical reasoning and thinking-- including fluency, problem solving, and critical thinking. One on one tutoring is an excellent source for extra math help! I will focus on the main componenets of math: number sense and operations, algebraic thinking, geometric reasoning, data analysis, measurement, and fractions. As a certified elementary math teacher with experience from kindergarten to sixth grade, I have the knowledge of the progression of math development to help students get to where they should be.
Learning Goals
Students will improve their mathematical reasoning and thinking skills: including fluency, problem solving, and critical thinking.
