Priv. 1-on-1 Mr. Hun's The ABCs of Python (Beg. Level) [NO prev. exp. req.]

[FYI: Contact Mr. Hun with the days/times you seek. Mr. Hun will do his best to accommodate you.] This private 1-on-1 class introduces basic Python and coding concepts to future coding wizards. Kids must prepare to live in the future.

Homework
1 hour per week. The student will be provided with a worksheet to be printed out after class. Then completed at home.
Assessment
The parent (or parents) can assess how much their child has learned by asking their child to demonstrate their code project. And to explain how the various lines of code fit together and work together.

Class Experience

US Grade 4 - 7
Beginner Level
[FYI: This class is for the student without any previous coding experience. If the student has a little or some previous coding experience, that will be taken into account. Also, this class will contain light typing in class. The student is not expected to be a speedy typer.]

This class is an introduction to coding concepts and Python. Students will learn basic Python code. And will complete a simple code project. 

The coding instructor will lead the student step by step, line by line, to build a "Secret Decoder Ring". The coding instructor will explain what each line of code does. And how it fits into the whole program.  The instructor will explain different coding concepts as the code project comes together. 

[FYI: Mr. Hun reserves the right to adjust or change the listed code project to a different one depending on the circumstances. Especially if the learner has already completed the same or similar code project prior.]

A. Warning! Mr. Hun grew up in NYC, NY. From the age of 5 to 45. But now lives on the west coast. NYC culture is characterized by sarcasm. Which (sadly) does NOT exist outside of the NE. Mr. Hun does his utmost best to keep his sarcasm under control. And be professional at all times. But sometimes his NYC culture peeks through once in a while. So, if you and/or your learner are offended by sarcasm or jokes. Please, do NOT register for any of Mr. Hun's classes. Thank you (said without any sarcasm whatsoever). B. Please, be aware that your child will be required to be able to access the PythonTutor.com website. In order to execute Python code in a web browser. Your child will NOT be required to create an account on PythonTutor.com
Supply List
Preferably, the student will have either a desktop computer or a laptop computer available for this class. Preferably, a Mac computer or a Windows computer. Or an iPad (or a tablet) preferably with an external keyboard.

Bachelor's Degree in Science from Hunter College, CUNY
Mr. Hun (coding instructor) has over three years of experience teaching coding (Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and computer science (AP Computer Science A, AP Computer Science Principles, ACSL) to children (7 to 17 y.o.).
Mr. Hun started teaching CFK (Coding For Kids) in 2019.
Mr. Hun has been teaching online since 2020. 
In 2022 started teaching on Outschool.
Mr. Hun has a BA from Hunter College, CUNY. With a major in computer science and a minor in math.
Mr. Hun has ten years of IT experience, working as an IT consultant, on Wall Street (NYC, NY).
