This 'class meet up' style course is similar to a 'morning meet up' or 'circle time' that students would participate in daily in a PreK setting. There is an emphasis placed on language skills, social skills, motor skills, and academic skills, but other skills will be targeted depending on the class. -Student will build conversation skills with peers and adult. -Student will enhance vocabulary. -Student will develop appropriate fine motor skills such as prewriting strokes and finger strengthening. -Student will develop appropriate gross motor skills. -Student will speak clearly and confidently. -Student will become familiar with letters and numbers. -Student will practice turn-taking and demonstrate joint attention. -Student will have knowledge of print to include print awareness (reading left to right, title page of book, author/illustrator, etc.). -Student will demonstrate self-advocacy skills such as requesting assistance if needed, asking appropriately to share experiences, etc. -Student will acknowledge multiple emotions/feelings as well as possible causes. -Student will interact cooperatively in a group. -Student will recognize their name. -Student will demonstrate early math skills such as counting. -Student will demonstrate problem solving skills. -Student will self express through creative outlets.

This class is able to address ULN as the teacher has experience adapting materials to varying knowledge levels and needs. Students are encouraged to move and take breaks if needed. Teacher will provide frequent redirection if needed.
Everyday items will be incorporated into the class. These things will be posted in the classroom. Material substitutions can be made if learner does not have the material listed. Examples include: pencil, paper, crayon, playdoh, stuffed animal, etc.
We will use songs/dances/videos that are commonly used in preschool curriculum such as days of the week, months of the year, hello song.
