*Learners should be familiar with counting. This class focuses on counting and recognizing numbers and identifying the larger number (more than).* Does your little learner enjoy superheroes?! This class will include a superhero theme while learning basic math concepts, such as counting to ten, using our fingers to count, identifying numbers to ten and learning more than or less than. Learners may practice simple addition equations based on the skill of the class, by using their fingers to find the sum of two numbers. All learners are encouraged to wear any superhero attire or bring some of their superhero toys. The toys can also assist them with counting. A worksheet will be provided to complete during the class! (Includes tracing, counting, and recognizing and identifying bigger numbers) Come and save the planet with me! *Please be available to assist your child as needed* Learners should already be familiar with counting to 1-10.

A little about me....
👩🎓 In 2015, I received a masters degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Sociology. I worked at several positions within the Criminal Justice field but after having my three children (all boys), I had a change of heart! I realized I had a passion for being in the classroom and changing the lives of young learners!
I became an online ESL teacher five years ago, teaching English to children of all ages, and I hold two Tesol certificates.
📒✏ I have classroom experience in grades K-5th as I was an elementary substitute teacher for three years and a kindergarten teacher for the last two years!
I aim for my students to have fun while learning in a structured and welcoming atmosphere. I work to encourage students to build their confidence by speaking to their peers and sharing their ideas.
🌎🏖 In my free time, I enjoy traveling and creating memories with my family, which includes three boys (ages 16, 7, and 5). We enjoy spending time at the beach, pool, and amusement parks!
